I’m a first-generation Ethiopian-born Eritrean American woman (she/her), a licensed psychotherapist in California and Texas, and a cross-cultural consultant. I speak Tigrinya and can “ça veut dire quoi” my way through a conversation in French. I’m also a writer, an auntie, and the proud granddaughter of ancestors who always made time for three finjals (small cups) of coffee. Their resistance to colonization and commitment to community shape the way I work—through deep listening, cross-cultural trust, and care rooted in dignity.
A bit about me
-
I work with people struggling with relationship difficulties, persistent anxiety, or feeling disconnected from themselves—even as they appear successful to others. I bring special insight to first- and second-gen immigrants, BIPOC individuals, and expats navigating these challenges across different cultural contexts.
If you're feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or just need a space to think through what's next, reach out for a free 15-minute consultation.

In addition to my therapy practice, I support professionals and organizations in navigating cultural complexities to improve workplace dynamics and client care. Whether you're a clinician, attorney, educator, or part of a multicultural organization, I offer tailored workshops, engaging talks, and case consultations to help you engage thoughtfully with issues of immigration, culture, and wellness.
